I feel very similar to your search for finding something for you and your daughter. My husband and I are two different faiths, I'm not really any faith actually but looking for something. I'm not exactly pro-religion, I have a hard time understanding how one person or people can decide what you are suppose to believe or worship. I do feel that something is missing from our lives and feel like maybe I might be failing my kids by not providing them with some kind of religious guidance in life. I'm trying my best to teach them to be responsible, kind, caring and respectful and surrounding myself with people who have the same values. Even though we all have different religions, they are my support group and my "village" and all can teach my kids something different. It might not be a organized religion, but it is the best I can do.
